Windows Live Writer has been my favorite tool for creating posts so I'm now thrilled to learn that there is a U3-compatible portable version of this app which I have used to create this post!

Microsoft's Windows Live emerged from beta earlier this week so I finally gathered the "courage" to install the software after exploring the Web-based services. This post was created with the latest version of Windows Live Writer (WLW) and I hope to try some WLW plug-ins later.

I just "discovered" Windows Live Writer (WLW) which launched its beta on Friday. This post was created with Windows Live Writer which just MIGHT "justify" me getting a Tablet PC!

I'm looking forward to trying more WLW plug-ins.

"Close call" with Windows Live Local

Being so "impressed" with what Microsoft is doing with Windows Live, I resolved that I would try to "survive" on this trip to St. Louis on Windows Live alone. Everything went fine for the first two days, but I had a close call when looking for directions to the Anheuser-Busch brewery tour. For some strange reason, Windows Live Local gave me directions to another Anheuser Busch location when I asked for driving directions. I had to use Mapquest from BudweiserTours.com.
