Perhaps more than most, Singaporeans love food! So it shouldn't be any surprise that we eat very well when we're in Singapore! For the last two days, that's been especially evident as we've enjoyed TWO BUFFET meals!

For dinner on Saturday, we enjoyed local favorites that are characteristic of the island of Penang off the western coast of Malaysia. This was an upscale version of the local fare that is commonly found at hawker centres.

Today for Father's Day we had a Japanese teppanyaki meal including my favorite: sashimi! That's RAW fish for those of you who are uninitiated.
